Environmental awareness is to understand the fragility of our environment and the importance of its protection. Promoting environmental awareness is an easy way to become an environmental steward and participate in creating a brighter future for our children.
1. Informational and inspirational seminars
The environmental awareness can be raise by the seminars. The students may get more information and inspiration about environmental awareness through the seminar. Hence, they will gain more knowledge about environment from the seminar.
2. Environmental awareness campaign
Students may join the environmental awareness campaign in order to raise their awareness towards environment. “Go Green” campaign had been carry out in Universiti Utara Malaysia. Students may bring along those recycle products, like newspapers, cans and bottles to a specific venue to join the campaign.
3. Environmental brochures
Environmental brochures can be spread along the way to class. By giving those brochures, more students may know the ways to protect the environments even they are studying in university now. The location of the recycle bins should be stated in the brochures as well.
Ways are short but true enough that we can save our world by this ways. Keep it on!
